About Me

Tiggy Harris Veterinary Physiotherapy is owned and run by fully qualified veterinary physiotherapist, Tiggy Harris BSc (Hons), MNAVP (Cat1).

Having always harboured a passion for animals, pursuing a career within the veterinary industry seemed only natural. I qualified in 2020 with a BSc (Hons) in Veterinary Physiotherapy from Moreton Morrell College in Warwickshire and set up my business to run a mobile practice to horses and dogs in Herts, Beds, Bucks, and the surrounding areas. Over the years however my practice has grown and as well as horses and dogs,  I have also seen a wide variety of other species such as rabbits and cows. All of which have benefited from physiotherapy. I am a full member (Category 1) of the National Association of Veterinary Physiotherapists (NAVP) who promote professional practice and ensure that the highest standards of care are provided to every animal, and in order to keep my practice up to date and evidence-based, I regularly attend CPD events, lectures, and demonstrations.

In addition to my training, I am also able to draw on years of experience working with animals. At 14, I began volunteering at my local Riding for the Disabled centre, Penniwells, where  I gained invaluable experience with a variety of horses from low-level riding school ponies to advanced competition horses, and have been involved with numerous regional and national competitions. It was here that my interest in equine therapy and biomechanics began. Experiencing first hand the effect different riders can have on the horse inspired me to pursue a career which alleviates discomfort and enhances performance in domestic and working animals.

I am based in Hertfordshire where I live with my German Shepherd x Rottweiler, Otto, and my rabbit, Timmy.
